Dr. Ashley Fischer is the Director of Neonatology at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport, Iowa, and an experienced neonatologist specializing in high-acuity newborn care.. Prior to joining Genesis, she served as an attending neonatologist at OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois and as Associate Program Director for the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship.

With a background in biomedical engineering and a medical degree from Southern Illinois University, Dr. Fischer brings a unique blend of innovation and clinical expertise to neonatal care. She has developed simulation-based curricula and ECMO training programs that support both improved outcomes and the education of future neonatologists. Her work is grounded in a commitment to advancing neonatal procedures, quality improvement, and family-centered care.
