Dr. Hatem Elhagaly is the Director of Pediatrics at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, New Jersey, and is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine. With more than 20 years of experience across inpatient and outpatient settings, he has cared for a wide range of pediatric conditions, including complex cases and high-risk deliveries.

A graduate of Alexandria University, Dr. Elhagaly completed his pediatric residency at the Children’s Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. His career reflects a strong commitment to community health, shaped by his experience with the Mayo Clinic Health System and ongoing volunteer work. Fluent in English and Arabic, he brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care for children and their families.
