I write with continued enthusiasm about the outstanding neonatal and pediatric services that your group provides for our Labor and Delivery and neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
As you know, the hospital has been in partnership with your group since Obstetrical services began in the summer of 1996. Since that time, great achievements have been made, from the construction and opening of our NICU in the fall of 2001 to the the dramatic increase in our obstetrical deliveries for the last several years. Our deliveries, for example, for 2002 were quadruped when compared to our deliveries during the first year of service.
Most importantly, I mention here that the continued advancement of our department and unit would really not have been possible without the excellent care and expertise that your Neonatology group has provided the hospital all these years. Having involved myself in some of the most difficult cases in Obstetrics in the hospital, I can attest to your group’s excellent cadre of physicians and practitioners. I trust this solid partnership shall continue in the many years to come.
