I have enjoyed working with you and your group. You have built a highly respected Neonatology practice which has greatly improved the quality of care provided to premature and ill newborns in Burlington County, particularly those at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County.
I particularly remember a case from a few years ago involving a baby diagnosed in utero with Downs Syndrome and a life threatening and irreparable heart defect. The parents chose to continue to pregnancy and to delivery at Lourdes Medical Center (then known as Rancocas Hospital.) You and the rest of the neonatology staff were prepared to provide emotional support to the parents and medical support to the baby for as long as she lived. Your group was able to quickly redirect their attention following the babys birth when a postnatal echocardiogram revealed a much less severe defect. The baby, under your care, thrived and went home with the parents. She later underwent successful heart surgery and is now a healthy, and happy, child.
I am impressed with your commitment not only to the Neonatology department at Lourdes Medical Center but also to the Pediatrics, and by your groups efforts to help care for sick children who came to Lourdes Medical Center without an outside Pediatrician.
I believe any hospital that accepts you and your group as part of their staff would benefit greatly from your compassion, knowledge, and experience.
