5 easy steps to get your bill paid faster

What you can do to simplify the insurance process

Insurance can seem very complex. Here are some things you can do to make it simpler, and to get your bill paid by insurance faster.

Right now:

  1. Make sure your baby has been added to your insurance plan.
All you have to do is call the plan and tell them you had a baby. The phone number should be on your insurance card. The health plan will ask a few questions, and then the baby will be added.

  2. Make sure Onsite has your correct information
We collect information from the hospital so that we can prepare the bill for your insurance company. But it is often incomplete. To make the process go more smoothly, fill out a form right here on the website, or contact our Patient Advocates. It will take just a minute or two, and can save weeks of confusion.

  3. When you get a response from your health plan:

  4. Send the Explanation of Benefits to Onsite
After we bill the health plan, the health plan will send you an “Explanation of Benefits,” which shows what they paid. Onsite sends you a pre-paid envelope that you can use to mail the Explanation of Benefits to us. If you misplaced the envelope, here is the address:

  5. Patient Advocates
    Onsite Neonatal Partners
    1000 Haddonfield-Berlin Road
    Suite 210
    Voorhees, NJ  08043

Or, contact our Patient Advocates to request a new envelope.

We can’t close your bill until we get an Explanation of Benefits. It’s very important to mail this to us.

  6. When you get a check from the health plan, endorse it and send it to Onsite Neonatal
Sometimes the health plan sends the check to you, instead of to us. If this happens, just sign your name on the back of the check and send it to Onsite. You can use the paid envelope we send you for this. If you have misplaced the envelope, just use the address above, or contact our Patient Advocates to request a new envelope.

  7. If you have any questions, contact the Onsite Patient Advocates
Our Patient Advocates are here to help. We are happy to get your calls or emails. Get in touch, and let us answer questions or help you with any step you don’t understand.
